I never liked Widmark’s face (it’s not a nice face). But I’m gonna watch No Way Out this weekend. And maybe Pickup on South Street, too.
I’m a huge fan of heist flicks, and the wordless sequence in Rififi, which I heard about for years, amping up my expectations, met each and every one of those expectations. Topkapi, not as good… but still kind of fun.
