mike, did you actually make this post? when i went to see why comments were closed for it, i discovered that it contained a large number of hidden links to various porn sites. and then i found the same links hidden at the end of your trigger man post as well, which also had comments turned off. trying to figure out if/how the site might have been hacked.
It sure reads like one of Mike’s posts.

yeah, i’m serious. comments were closed for both your two previous posts (did you do that?) and they had these extensive porn links hidden in code that made them invisible. i know you didn’t add those because that was some nifty code. but i’m trying to figure out how it happened. your latest post is fine. i think i need to upgrade us to the latest, more secure, version of wordpress, but in the meantime, could everyone please change their passwords (and use some numbers).

what is the purpose of invisible links to porn sites? won’t get much traffic if they are invisible, will they? see her gasp at your huge schlong.
it may be a way to get search engine bot to index the links without the owners of blogs catching on (if they were visible they would delete them). the links were hidden with css tags, but might be visible to search bots.

yup–invisible links again in mike’s post, and comments turned off. i’ve removed the links and enabled the comments. it only seems to be happeneing with mike. so, either mike is a porn marketer on the side or this is a problem specific to his computer or where he’s posting from. somehow someone is editing his posts.
But no one’s touched my new post, right? I changed password… so let’s give it a couple days. I blame Mauer.
i just upgraded the blog software. so, let’s see if that makes it go away. the new version has some spam-blocking software built into it.
