Exactly. The press conference parody is dull. But up until then, the humor is really sharp, and quite painful to watch. This is right up there with Jon Stewart’s appearance on ‘Crossfire’ for the devastating impact of a humorist on mainstream politics.
Some of it is just plain funny (glaciers, “the government that governs least, governs best…”), but the lines about generals and John McCain are real zingers.
